At Exposed temptations we are always interested in young and emerging artistic talent. We offer two different Virginia State apprentice programs. One in Tattooing, one in Body piercing.

To be considered for either program, candidates should be at least 17 years of age. To be considered for the Tattooing program you must present a professional portfolio consisting of at least twenty five pieces of “Custom Art”.

Some things to remember:

  • Be aware, we did not start tattooing yesterday, so do not insult us, or embarrass yourself by bringing artwork that you copied from tattoo publications. We are looking for real artist.
  • The more bizarre you look, not necessarily the better. We are a professional establishment, we are not here to scare the clients, we are here to provide a service in a comfortable atmosphere. So please leave mom’s stockings in her drawer and off your arms and guys, leave the makeup at home!!
  • If you use drugs, please do so elsewhere. All candidates must pass drug screening!!
  • If you are a ragging alcoholic, or you were voted most likely to be an asshole your whole life, please don’t waste my time or yours.
  • If you have an over inflated ego, or a rock star attitude, take guitar lessons and don’t waste our time. We exist for the customer, the customer does not exist for us!!
  • If you have bought a home tattoo kit and are currently practicing on your friends….STOP!! The equipment you bought is junk and it’s hard to unteach bad habits.

The actual program will be explained to you on an appointment basis. If you wish to be considered,  please call the shop and my receptionist will schedule an appointment.

Thanks and remember, last year over two hundred people inquired, twenty made an appointment to have their work viewed, one got the spot. Don’t be discouraged, but please do not waste my time!!

If you are a licensed Tattoo artist, or Body Piercer, or if you come from a state with no Licensing procedure, we are again always looking for talented Tattooist and Piercers.

Some quick notes, we will check with your current, or previous shop owner. Chances are if you dicked him over you will dick us over as well. If you are a rockstar who’s more interested in getting blown then doing good work, then go elsewhere. If you are a drug user, you need to look elsewhere!! You must have an extensive professional portfolio.
